Feedback on Recaro carseats??
They are rated just as good as Britax and look really nice. Anyone have one??

I have never heard of Recaro. I just logged into my Consumer Reports account and looked up convertible and infant car seats and they do not rate Recaro on their site.

we have one...it's very sturdy and supposedly the side impact protection is rated very high. They do make race car seats which also have to able to withstand high impact.
All in all we like it. It does get cumbersome to get my 30 lb DS up and over the sides of the seat but I don't mind so much because I feel like he is protected.

not a mom yet.. but DH has Recaro seats in his Subaru. they are really comfortable!! and have held up well over the years hes had the car. they do make seats for race cars, so i'm guessing they have a good idea about protecting against an impact.... probably a good thing with a child carseat

We have a convertible one and LOVE it! I went to the store and not sure if I was going to get the britax or the recaro (I was looking at the britax with the side impact). We tried DD in both seats and she hated the britax but liked the recaro. The padding seems better and more comfortable on the recaro it is a very nice seat.

I have the Signo, its nice and it looks really comfortable but its such a pain to get her in and out of! Also its huge, if it was an inch taller i dont think i would be able to see out of my rear window.
