resume question
I was excessed this year and did a 3rd grade leave replacement in my school for 3 months. I don't know what to do about my resume.. do I make it like this never happened and pretend I'm still teaching first grade or do I say i'm teaching 3rd grade.. I've had my own classroom for 3 years I don't want it to look like I was just a leave replacement this year. What would you do?

Re: resume question
put 1st and 3rd grade. you were excessed; that wasn't your fault. you can say you were excessed on a job interview. the fact that the same district gave yo a leave replacement shows that they liked your performance and didn't want to let you go. JMO.

i agree....
it also shows that you have experience with more than one grade.

Re: resume question
There's nothing saying that you have to have the dates blaring out on your resume. Why not deemphasize the dates by putting them at the end of your job description - not bolded or anything.
That way you emphasize your job experience - you can tell them about the excessing at the interview.
