Anyone get this while pg?
I had it 2 years ago for almost 4 days

i had it a few weeks ago hon....wound up in the ER. it was horrifying...
drink LOTS of gatorade.... Eat with the BRAT diet (if you can handle food).
eat half a banana, wait 30 minutes - see how you process it (if you go number 2 or puke it up). If you are okay, eat the other half....(as per my doc).
KEEP YOURSELF HYDRATED (even if it means you go to the bathroom every 5 minutes, you need to put back what you lost)...

I had it two weeks ago and it was god awful. Just make sure you stay hydrated, and follow the BRAT diet.
I had to eat a really REALLY bland diet for 10 days straight because the virus really screwed up my digestive system for a while there. I'm juuuuust starting to feel a little more normal and venturing back into the world of fruits and vegetables

i had it when I was 11w. it was miserable. The dr said to try to drink gatorade and maybe eat popsicles if you cant keep water down. I wasn't able to keep the gatorade down but the popsicles I could tolerate for some reason.
I didn't eat anything else for 4 days and then very slowly starting eating things like dry toast, bananas, broth...

Oh No!!!! I hope you have a speedy recovery and it isn't too bad. DD and DH had this over new years for several days (DD had it for 9 or 10) I luckily escaped it.
Feel better soon!!! Try to stay hydrated - drinks lots of gatorade or believe it or not pedialyte was recommended to me if I caught what DD or DH had.

I only threw up once on Saturday but anything I've tried to eat has gone right through me.
Can I take Pepto or Immodium? Or do I just have to suffer?

BRAT stands for bananas, rice, applesauce, tea/toast.
I'd call your doc to see if you can take immodium or pepto...

NOoooooooooooooooooo immodium. Not sure about pepto - but the hospital told me a HUGE no to immodium.
I could not stop going (i was going literally any time i ingested food or drink, even when i was on the IV in the hospital, i was going every 15 minutes or so, not stretching the truth there either).

I did Thursday night, Friday and into Saturday. I think it actually was a bit of food poisoning. Called my dr. and he said it was okay for me to take imodium and lots of liquids and the baby will be fine. But it was awful! By Saturday evening I was eating some solid foods.

My Dr. said it was fine. Honestly, i take meds as a last resort, but taking immodium as opposed to completely stressing your body out from it wins, imo.
I had it last week from Mon-saturday. It really is horrible. I finally gave in and took immodium on saturday evening b/c we had a wedding to go to... and i felt so much better! (though, it was probably a combination of the meds and the virus just running its course). Anyway, do what you need to do to stay healthy. Feel better!!!

Thank You ladies.
DH just went to go get gatorade and gingerale to have in the house.
He would have went earlier, but, he has it too and the both of us are trying to take care of DS whose running around here all happy and laughing...(thank goodness).
I have to put a call into the Dr. in a few anyway, so, Im going to mention this to him.
I did try to eat 1/4 of a banana..didn't last long at all.
I just am worried about being hydrated. I have been drinking a lot of water, just hope Im not "gettting rid of it" as fast as its going in.

I "think" I have it too. It started with HORRIBLE heartburn last night. Then I threw up, just once. Then I started to run a fever that didn't break until the middle of the night even with Tylenol.
Now today I stayed home and I have had horrible gas pains and heartburn all day. I called the midwife and she agrees that I probably had a stomach bug, mildly and now I have some sort of gastritis. She said I could take Pepto for the very short term. But, if the heartburn continues I can't take it for the long term. I have had heartburn since Friday a lot. And sporadically before that. So she is emailing me so natural remedies and if it continues to be a major problem I have to call her to discuss what I can do.
Feel better. I hope it is a quick one for you. I have eaten very little in the past 48 hours. Just a bowl of cereal and a small salad and 2 slices of quiche yesterday. I didn't eat after lunch. Then today I had a bowl of cereal and a few small cookies. Everything I eat brings back the heartburn and gas pains in my belly.

I had it Dawn the day after Thanksgiving. DS then got it that night and DH got it 2 days later. I am sorry. I feel for you. Rest as much as possible. Feel better.
