WW ?

Hi girls!! So, I just joined WW yesterday; I started last week on my own. My thing is DH and I go out to eat a few nights a week, so I need to know what to eat when I go out to these places. We go to Houstons a lot and Cheesecake factory, Grand LUxe Cafe, Ruth Chris.. Anyone go here and what do they eat?

I suggest picking up the 'dining out companion' and finding some things that are appealing to you and also in your point range for that meal.

Or, if you are an online member, you can search for the nutrition information online and calculate the point.

I would say anything chicken, seafood, no buttersauce, lots of steamed veggies. Try to stay away from the rice and the saucey stuff.

Re: WW ?

Check out www.dwlz.com for approximate point values for restaurants.

I agree with Steph! I tend to go with "simpler" meals when dining out. Grilled or chicken, grilled steak etc.

Always ask for the dressing on the side and feel free to make things healthier (no cheese, no bacon etc).

Also it would help to know approximate portion sizes before dining out...portion size guide

HTH!
