sorry if this is too much info...

I went to dr. last night and he believes that I have Fibroid(s) tumors. I'm scheduled for a sonogram next Tuesday to see how many or how large it is. I know that I didn't have anything 18 months ago because I had a C-Section...and its possible that when I went for my yearly physical last march that it was too small to detect....so at most I think its been there for a yr.

my Dr asked me If I was having back pain...which I am...but never ever thought it was conected to my reporoductive system...I thought that it was because I strained myself putting up Christmas lights or lifting the baby the wrong way....anyway after my appointment my back was killing me...the Dr. said to expect that since he probably disturbed the tumor.

Dh and I haven't been very careful in regards to preventing pregnancy because we know that we want another baby...and even though we aren't actively trying at this time we figure what ever happens...happens. But its been about 6 months since we have been careful...so now I'm concerned that the Fibroids might be causing some infertilty problems.

So I was wondering if anyone has had Fibroids...and if so would you mind sharing what type of treatment you went with?
