When could you hear the babies heartbeat on a store bought monitor?
My SIL let me borrow her monitor, but I still can't hear the heartbeat on it, not sure how far along you're supposed to be. I'm almost 14 weeks. She got it from Babies R Us. I heard the heartbeat two weeks ago at the Doc's on his doppler. Guess his is wayyyyy better.

I "thought" I heard the heartbeat..sounded SO clear to me. But when I mentioned it to Dr. He said I was more then likely listening to my own heart..or blood flow..LOL....i Had recorded it and emailed it to my parents LOLOLOL........yes the ones at the OBGYN are WAY better!!

I have one, I'm 32w4d and still cant hear him............uuuggghhhhh....... But I can feel him.

the box for one brand says around 20 weeks.. the box for bebe sound says 3rd trimester

The one's you buy in the store are best used in the 3rd trimester. I had bought one and honestly at 37 weeks now, I still cannot find the heartbeat with that thing, only the doppler.
