please help me find Dr. Elizabeth Zimits
Dr. Zimits was always our favorite vet. we traveled pretty far to go to her. she recently left mineola animal center and we don't know where she went!
please let me know if you know where she is practicing now!
ETA: she is no longer in oceanside or mineola

She's licensed in West Hempstead if that helps. Maybe contact Dept of OP & see if they can help?

I loved her! When lived in Mineola I went to her and she is wonderful. She was so compassionate when my father and his wife had to put their cat to sleep, when they got a new one months later, they names her Lizzie after Dr. Zimits.

she is fabulous, isn't she?  there's no other vet that even comes close. how cute that your dad named their cat after her

I hope you find her!!! Can you post when you do? She's the best vet ever!!
My old cat Gunnar was a beast with people....a terror...just awful. She was amazing with him!!! So caring and compassionate. The only vet he would ever let near him....
I remember her treating all of the animals like they were little children.

I have to take my dog in for chemo tomorrow they deal with alot of referring vets I will ask if they know her or where she is.

I think if there is a vetenarian that is a vendor maybe.. But I believe its the same as we do on the IF boards.. We recommend Dr's all day long??  This might be different..

I was in a similar situation a while ago and FM'd Client Services and was told that as long as I wasn't advertising or soliciting *my* services as a non-paying vendor, that it was fine

I don't know about anyone else, but I sure wouldn't want anyone posting MY home number on the boards, even if it were because people wanted to use my services professionally. I'd extend that same courtesy to anyone else.

I DID explain it the first time I saw the question was asked. Not all of us check this thread daily for updates.
Regardless, there's really no need to get upset about this. Now the answer is posted. There you have it. Not everyone thinks to post everything the way you'd like them to.
