Did you let anyone know that you are TTC?
I have been asked the questions a million times. When are you going to have a baby?? I try to just play it off and say one day we will. Do you tell people that you are trying?

i see how it can be highly annoying when family and friends ask that question...
as for me.. they know i was trying.. but after my recent MC i am not telling anyone when we are trying again.. i think it would be better, and stress free!!
the questions are annoying!!
like..
did you test yet?
did you get AF?
 every month i had to deal with that.. like they knew my cycle better than i did!!
i am excited now to just keep it to ourselves..

My mom knows we're not using any BC (she works in the pharmacy I get my scripts at.) and that I'm taking pre-natals....I haven't come out and SAID it, but she knows its coming.
A couple of my girlfriends know. Thats more than enough for me.

Only a few people know.. mainly because those that somehow "found out" are very annoying. If one more person says "relax, it'll happen when you stop trying" I am going to grab them by the throat...................

I just told my co- teacher whom Im very close with - but other than that I havent told anyone nor do i plan to ( except of course this site and the people who read it!!!

We've told people. I had a very ackward conversation with my boss last week----we're having some problems getting preg, and I need to take off a few days for testing---I figured I should tell her so she knows why I am out. It was horrible. I thought it would be a vague conversation but she was asking crazy ?'s about my period, ovulation, etc. 
My family knows and we've both told some friends too.

Absolutely NOT!
However, when I miscarried, our parents and DHs brother found out....so of course now everyone knows we are trying and it stresses me out more than you could imagine.
I HATE that anybody knows. 
Its just so personal.

Yeah, they know. I don't give them a play by play and they don't ask but they know we are trying for another child and are anxious for the big announcement

No. no one knows. We also did not want the pressure and the questions. Although not telling has also caused some stress, lol. (I always feel like I am lying when people ask me and I give a vague answer). But it also keeps it fun and exciting. DH and I have this big secret that no one knows about  It will also make the telling of the BFP more fun too - since some family members think we wouldn't even think about kids for a while...

Only my BFF. That is it. I tried to keep it from her, but that lasted all of two seconds. I can't keep any secrets from her.

I only told two close friends. DH on the other hand will tell anyone standing still. It's annoying because I keep getting the questions from his family, of course followed by "no pressure!". I really wish he would have kept it to himself!

I think everyone in my life knows that we are going to start ttc this summer.
I am just so excited so I want to tell people and talk to them about it.
Plus I feel like if God forbid we had any problems I would want the support of all my friends and family so I am not worried.

When we started we didn't. Now onto our 8th cycle it's come out because it flippin hurts being asked EVERY time you see family, etc. We finally "went off" thinking it would keep them from asking, but nope...they still do.
Family & a few close friends know. It's not public knowledge...

A few of my friends know but we have not told our family members.
It has been coming up in conversation lately though! I may just be that I wasn't aware of it before. I just tell them we're hoping to start a family in the near future and leave it at that. I don't think the whole world needs or wants to know that we are actively trying!

Since having to deal with IF issues, a few more family members know.

Didn't tell anyone until we had been trying for 6 months, told my family after 8 months and everyone knew once we started fertility tx.
This time around I'm keeping it quiet. We're not preventing and will go for an FET sometime this spring/summer. I'm hoping to keep it under wraps until I hit 12 weeks (well a few will know before then )

Same here. And even if people I know ask, I don't lie. I don't care if people know one way or another. Maybe that sounds weird, but I just don't.

Well DH and I didn't make a formal anouncement but my family knows we're trying, and their pretty good with not asking 5,000 questions, just the occasional how are things going...DH's family on the other hand only knows because they like to stalk me out on here and read everything I write

some family members still ask, some dont. I've told only my closest girlfriends and my mother..some coworkers know too b/c they've been through treatments to get pregnant...so they're knowledgeable.
We agreed to not even breathe a word to MIL b/c she will just constantly call me all day at work and ask questions..i cant deal with her..

Just my sister and two friends. I only recently told one of those friends because she got pregnant on her honeymoon and was complaining about being overwhelmed and sick etc., etc., and I just blurted out that I had a m/c and she felt terrible. Now she asks me every day how I'm feeling and is there any news. It will start to drive me crazy soon. That is why I limited the people I told.
