Anyone attempt to cut DC hair themselves?
My son has a lot of hair in the back but not too much on the side or on top of his head. I don't want to take him to the barber b/c the back is the only thing that needs to be cut. However, I'm petrified to cut it myself. Anyone cut their DC's hair themselves?

I cut my DS hair the first few times. Daddy even did it once. It was fine, even if its not perfectly straight, at this age you really cant tell that much.
GO FOR IT!

I've trimmed the back of his hair. I'm afraid to touch the front or the sides.
It's not the best job, but it turned out okay.
I used DH's nosehair trimmer.

I do, it grows back. I haven't had a mistake until recently...it was a dumb mistake tho, I was distracted and forgot I took the buzzer attachment off!

Re: Anyone attempt to cut DC hair themselves?
If you use a buzzer (and make sure the offset is on.... ), you can't mess it up....
If you do mess it up somehow, it's only hair, and it always grows back....
