I don't know where you're located, but for my husband's birthday, we had a chef come to our house, bring with her all the ingredients and pots & pans, and make dinner for the whole group.
She did a small cooking demonstration, too. It was really inexpensive.
We did this in Staten Island. She lives in NJ.
I don't know if she would travel to Long Island, but you can ask her. FM me for her telephone number.

I have never done something like that..I know Kitchen Kabaret does catering. Not sure of the exact town they are in-Greenvale/East Hills
