We have it and LOVE it! DS is so comfy in it and it is very easy to maeuver the straps. I am so happy with it. We also considered the Marathon and an Evenflo Triumph. This is a great seat. We heard about it at the carseat inspection station too.

I wouldn't put this seat on your registry. If you want a lower cost convertible, the Graco Comfortsport is a good option

I am getting this seat for my DH's car-- it has great reviews!!! My toddler is 34lbs and has almost outgrown her Comfortsport. We will move the new baby into that one and my toddler into the Nautilus.

Its a very highly recommended seat. Just curious why you don't recommend it. It's not a convertible though-its forward facing only so definitely not for the little babies-I don't know the age of the OP's child. My 2 year old uses one in my Mom's car and we really like it. If a convertible is still needed, the Evenflo Triumph Advance is a good one.

Re: Graco Nautilus

We have the Britax boulevard and love it. It is rear and forward facing and goes to 65lbs. We got a really good deal on it at Albee Baby online w/ free shipping.

I was speaking about a registry like this poster said. You cannot use this as a rear facing seat and a lot of babies end up in them before they are forward facing.

Gotcha. I missed that you were talking about this poster and the registry. Totally agree then. I rear faced my daughter for over 2 years so I would never suggest it for a little baby who needs to be rear facing in a convertible.

I think the OP wanted to buy the Nautilus for her toddler Chat Icon and move her new baby into the Roundabout. Anyway if that's the case then it's a good move. The Nautilus is perfect for a toddler Chat Icon

Sorry OP!Chat Icon

Re: Graco Nautilus

we have two of these...

ds was in the britax roundabout and marthon... when dd came into the picture we knew we would need more car seats. i found the nautilus and it seemed great from alll the reviews i found. i went to the store to check it out also.

right now we have it in our jeep right next to the rear-facing marthon for dd.

i like it because ds will be able to use it for a very long time.

ds loves the cup holder

the only con i have right now is the latch system is a bit old school compared the the britax latches. they are just as safe just a bit more work.

once dd is out of the infant carrier we will breaking out our second nautilus for a big boy.

p.s. ds is 2.5 years old and weights over 33 pounds so he is about to out grown the roundabout

Re: Graco Nautilus

Do you think the Nautilus is still good for a 39lb child...

It has gotten so many great reviews, and I want a booster that also is a 5 point harness for Jacob.

We went to Walmart today and put our 34lb toddler in the seat on display. Sadly the straps were very short and I want to keep her in a 5 point for as long as possible. This is not the seat for us Chat Icon I rec you go and try the one on the floor....

The Nautilus is a 5 point harass up to 65 lbs. DD should fit great in the seat.

We went to BRU and tried it our with our 40 pound son and it was fine. Maybe you needed to adjust the straps. He had a coat on and everything and he still fit.

I'm going to go to BRU and try the display model again. The one at Walmart was strapped to the display so maybe we couldn't get the straps out all the way??Chat Icon I will give it another shot because size wise she fit great in the seat and loved the cup holder Chat Icon
