Graphing coordinate points lesson

Hey guys Im looking for a lesson plan that involves graphing coordinate points and the outcome is a picture. I need something that is 4-5 th grade level- no negatives...
Im looking on the internet but I cant seem to find any lessons!

Re: Graphing coordinate points lesson

A teacher left these for me to give the students once when I subbed for her class. I kept a copy of each because I had a feeling it would come in handy again.

ETA: sorry, I just went back and saw that you were looking for one without negatives! This was actually for a middle school class. But I'll leave it up in case anyone else wants it.

this one makes a fish:

(-12,4) (-11,-1) (-10.5,-2) (-10.5,-4) (-11 ,-7) (-12,-11) (-9,-8) (-6,-2) (-5,0) (-3,2) (-5,4) (2.5,5) (5,5) (7,4.5) (10,3) (12,1) (13,-1) (12,-2) (10,-2) (9.5,-1.5) (9.5,-2) (10,-2.5) (12,-3) (13,-2.5) (12,-5) (10,-7) (7,-8.5) (5,-9) (2,-9) (0,-8.5) (-3,-7) (-6, (-9,1.5) (-11,3.5) (-12,-4) BREAK (7,4.5) (5,9) (2,12)
(-3,15) (-6,15) (-3,12) (-2.5,10) (-2,6) (-1,4.5) BREAK (5,-9) (3,-14) (0,-17) (-5,-18) (-6,-18) (-4,-16)
(-2.5,-13) (-2.5,-10.5) (-3,-8) (-2,-7.5) BREAK (8,0) (9,1) (10,0) (9,-1) (8,0)

And this one makes a duck:

(0,2) (-3.5,0) (-4,2) (-3.5,4) (-2.5,6) (-1,8) (-.5,10) (-1,11.5) (-2,13) (-4,13) (-6,12) (-7,10.5) (-6.5,9) (-10.5,7.5) (-9,7) (-6,8) (-6.5,9) BREAK (-9,7) (-5.5,7) (-6,8) BREAK (-5.5,7) (-9,1) (-9.5,-1) (-9,-3) (-7,-6.5) BREAK (-10,-6) (-8,-7) (-6,-6) (-4,-7) (-2,-6) (0,-7) (2,-6)(4,-7) (6,-6) (8,-7) (10,-6) BREAK (7,-6.5) (9,-5) (11,-3) (10,-2.5) (11.-1.5) (9.5,-2) (10,0) (8.5,-1) (4,2) (0,2) BREAK (-2,-4) (0,-5.5) (2,-5.5) (4,-5) (4.5,-4) (3.5,-4) (4,-3.5) (3,-3.5) (3.5,-3) (2.5,-3) BREAK
(-5,10) (-4.5,10) (-5,9.5) (-5,10)

hope that helps!

Re: Graphing coordinate points lesson

Totally not what you asked for, but when you get to it:

Play connect four with a coordinate plane on the overhead. Divide the kids into teams, each team is a different color marker. They have to get 4 in a row, while blocking the other teams. You have to graph the point they say, not the point they want. This gets them used to saying the points correctly.
