Do any of you have tangible reminders of your pregnancy?

And if so, what do you plan to do with them?

I told my DH (as well as his family on Christmas Eve) I was pregnant with a Christmas ornament. It was a pregnant couple; the woman was holding a bag that said "Due Date" and on it I filled in my due date. It was cute. I thought it would be funny to hang on the tree next year knowing the date didn't turn out to be the baby's b-day...but now...

Obviously I'm not going to hang it on the tree, but I feel weird throwing it out. And I don't think I'm ready right now to do that anyway.

Have you been in this situation? What did you do/plan to do?

well I don't have any reminders in our house, but we gave some to others- my MIL we gave her a Christmas grandma apron and a baby brag book to my FIL.....hopefully I'll be pregnant again by next Christmas so if my MIL wears that apron around me I won't get all emotional.

I think its perfectly normal to keep the ornament you have, you don't have to take it out next Christmas (or ever if you don't want to), but when/if you feel right about it maybe you can, and you can think of it as having a little angel on your tree.

i had many reminders.. being that i was in the "safe zone" i had my family members buying me stuff already..

so one day i packed up everything including books, items, anything that had to do with the baby i brought to my mom's house.. i just stored it ..

but i cant throw any of it out.. i just cant.. so i hope to use it one day.. i know my little angel would have wanted it that way!

now i didnt have anything personlized like you mentioned an ornament.. but if it were me.. i wouldnt be able to hang it.. but i would hold on to it.. like sort of a keepsake..

I have all my sonograms, since I was seeing an RE, there are quite alot of them..I can't bear to part with them.

I was so upset I thru out all my sonograms ( which i now regret)
I had my mom pack upall my maternity clothes

I have sonograms from both, but I have the same type of ornament from my SIL from this last mc... Plus one of those journals. I can't throw any of it out either.

I got a few things as "congratulations" gifts whe i was pg. They are n the closet in the spare room. I dont remember what DH did w/ the sonos. I told him to put them somewhere. The HTP/BFP sticks i threw out. I didnt need them around anymore.

All the pregnancy books are in my nightstand. One day i will hopefully need them again

I just have my sonos from my 1st pregnancy, one baby tshirt, and a diaper bag. I didn't buy anything the second time.

I have two big sister T's... an ornament from my inlaws... an ornament we used to tell my bil and sil... I threw out the HPT's and I gave my mil the ornaments to hold for me. I packed up the T-shirts. It really sucks!

yes...I have my pg tests and 2 sonos from when I was 6 weeks and 7 weeks. I put the sonos in the box with the pg tests and put it away. I just dont have the heart to throw it out

I have a friend and a first cousin who are both due the same month I would have been due. Every time I see them growing, and every shower I have to attend and plan is a tangible reminder.

yes, from my first loss i have the pregnancy journal, which i put in the back of my closet and pulled out when i had my second loss... and for Vday that year i bought dh a baby outfit and book which i packed in the back of the closet- the outfit and book will be pulled out when i finally do give birth to a baby

We were so far along that we had all kinds of things: sonos, gifts, etc.
I bought a memory box and put all our pics of him including sonos, along with his bracelet, hat and birth card. We also put a couple special items in the box.

Other things like clothes, seats, etc. I put up into the attic for (hopefully) future use.

I have my first sonogram. I'll save that in my jewelry box.

I have all my sonograms, and we bought a ornament for our first DC (after the birth-it is a star with a snowflake). My dad also bought an ornament that first x-mas after for his first grandchild to recognize that the baby WAS his first grandchild.

I have the babies receiving blanket I held him in, and also a little book kind of thing that the hospital took the baby's footprint with and all of his information as a rememberance of him.

It is all I have of him (tangible), and I hold all of these things close to my heart.
