When "your team" gets eliminated...
from the playoffs, post season, whatever... do you root against the team that beat them out of spite? Or root for the team that beat them so it kinda makes the loss worthwhile?

We always root for the underdog.
So we are pro Arizona here now.
I tend to go that way as well, and I'm kind of down the middle in the superbowl this year, I like Arizona as the underdog, and I like the Steelers.
The only teams I can't root for are the Pats, the Dolphins and the Giants.
I DID root for the Dolphins this year because we have a history with their QB 
And I don't hate the Giants, but my whole family, except me, are Giant fans, and I heard all sorts of crap during the Jet collapse, so it was nice to return the favor last week - and it will be nice not having to listen to them drone on and on this year

i don't hate the giants, nor do I have issue with the fans that treat the other teams with respect. In other words, if you don't bash the Jets to me, I don't bash the Giants to you.
Since I get daily harassmnt from my family, they created the distaste for me, and it made last week really fun.

For me it depends on who beat them. I don;t always root for the underdog. I root for the team that I like the most that's left. For the Super bowl I will root for whoever will win me money now!

It depends. I will NEVER EVER root for an arch rival. You'll never see me root for the Red Sox or Dallas Cowboys... NEVER!!!
