LI Wineries Tour
Have you ever gone on the Long Island Wineries tour? Any information about this? Fees? Tastings? Which wineries are better?
Is April a good or bad time for this?

april is fine!
i would think anytime is really fine!
we did it on our own....some that i liked are nofo, raphael, osprey, martha clara, pugliese, ....there are soo many, i say pick around 5 and spend the day.....you'll probably enjoy yourself so when you decide to do it again-pick another 5 or so!!

I've used Long Island Wine Tours a bunch of times and have always been happy. We go with a group and either get a limo, van or bus depending on how many of us go. You don't really get to pick where you go. They take you to 3-5 vineyards and provide lunch.

Not with a group, but with DH and his co-workers. We rent a mini bus (with driver!) and go to about 5. It's so much fun! I would think w/another group would be a bit more structured? Which could be a good or bad thing!! lol
