Help - did we bd too much too soon?

I am using the CBEFM. This is our first month TTC and I think we went overboard! LOL

On Tuesday, CD11, I was still on a low day, so I thought maybe it is not working and we should just start to bd every other day. I have a regular cycle and expected I would O around Friday or Saturday. Then, on Wednesday I got another Low, but started seeing EWCM. So I thought - we should BD that night too. I then got my first high on Thursday - so I we did it again. Another high on Friday - I was afraid to NOT do it - so we did it again. Yesterday I got my peak = so excited - so of course we bd again. Now today I automatically get my second peak. Should we do it again today? Do you think we did too much BD too early before O?

i'm new to this...but i would think if DH's sperm count is good then it may not matter how many days in a row you BDed for? sounds like u covered a lot of your bases...hopefully someone who knows more will have a better answer for you.

maybe you could skip today and BD tomorrow?? i really am not sure, sorry! but GOOD LUCK to you!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

no. as long as he has some time to replenish is sperm you are fine. if he has issues with that than you should hold off.
my dr told me to not BD until i got the peak but we normally we BD before i get it.

i am thinking if you waited close to 24 hours then u should be fine...like if you BDed at night each time, then it would give the sperm more time to replenish...rather then if you BDed one night, and then again the next AM

the timing of BDing is driving me crazy too though, i feel your pain

As long as DH is healthy then you are fine. It can, even on a healthy male, lower his count, but it actually will produce sperm with a greater motility and mobility, which from what I have read is more important then actual count.

Thanks everyone - we did end up doing the bd last night after the super bowl. I am getting a High today on the CBEFM, but I think we're done! LOL Do you think it's ok if we don't do it today? I am not seeing any EWCM - I think I ovulated yesterday (I sometimes feel the pain) so I think it's too late today anyway. We need a break! LOL

Every day for a week....God Bless!

Its fine! As long as the DHs swimmers are swimming, you should be fine.

Just make sure you drink a lot of cranberry so as not to get a UTI. that's a lot of sex!
