I will have a vacuum for every floor in our house.

I have the Dyson Ball DC25 right now and I like it. It's easy to use and it is very effective.

Re: Vacccummmsss

I bought one for each floor. Too much of a pain to carry one up and down the stairs. I bought Eureka Boss's. They got much better reviews than any Dyson, and they were about 1/3 the price.

No,we have a canister from Sears that is a breeze to carry. It's lightweight and has a handle. You vacuum the stairs so it's already almsot on the other floor anyway ?

I dustbuster the stairs. I'm not comfortable balancing a vacuum on the stairs...

Re: Vacccummmsss

I actually have one for each floor. One Hoover (never use) and a Dyson. The Dyson works soooooo much better I just lug it room to room. I dont even have carpet on my main floor but I vacuum every day - gets all the dust bunnie & crumbs.

You can get Sofia the mini toy DysonChat Icon

I have the dyson animal and I Love it. It never dawned on me to have a separate vacuum for each floor...I just bring it up/down when necessary and do the stairs.

Re: Vacccummmsss

I have the Dyson DC25 which I like a lot more then the other Dyson vacuums on the market right now. If you need any info on any Dyson FM me anytime... I was one of the first Dyson dealers in the USA and sold over 600 without one return.

But I like the new Oreck Halo vacuum that went on sale this week.

I was thinking about getting this. We have SO MUCH pet hair it is unbelievable. It has killed all of my other vacuums. Have you had it long? Does it work well?

Re: Vacccummmsss

I would never think to have a seperate vacuum for each floor.

I have the Dyson (yellow one) and I think it sux personally. It doesn't even compare to my cleaning people's vacuum which I will def. be buying once this one dies.

Re: Vacccummmsss

Right now we only have one - an Oreck Commercial.

We're going to get a canister vac as well - the Oreck is just an upright with no attachments.

My mom had the Dyson Animal and we hated it!!!! Heavy, awkward with the extending pole, didn't pick up animal hair (she only has two cats), and it clogged SO often.

Either have I but it's a great idea if you have the storage for it.

I have an Electrolux and really like it.
