1st child took 2 months, 2nd child was a surprise (they're 14 months apart) and #3 we weren't trying but we weren't being careful either. I should have known!!!

With DD #1, it took 2 years to get pregnant but with DC #2 it took 2 months.

DD#1:First try
DC#2: Still trying. Got pregnant after 3 months, ended in MC. Since MC, this is our 3 month TTC again.

We didn't really try. I got pregnant right after I got my period while nursing. DS#2 is 11 months old and I'm due july 4th with #3. My first two boys are 2 years and 3 days apart and I had a M/C in between them. I know people who have tried once and others that have tried for a year, it really varies.

baby #1 came 4 months after not trying but not preventing
baby #2 came on 1st month of not preventing but I was in Italy and drinkin lots of wine

With DC#1 we got pregnant second cycle (first temping/charting and using OPKs).
With this pregnancy we got pregnant 1st cycle (went straight to the temping/charting and OPKs this time).
Not that it'll guarantee anything of course but if you're really trying to do it quickly 2nd time around I would recommend going whole hog on the temping/charting and OPKs. If nothing else, it'll alert you to any potential issues that you would otherwise have to wait months to recognize.
