Ugh, so nervous about giving notice tomorrow!
I liked this office and it was a super easy job but I could tell the practice is dying. The dr. kept cutting my hours (she told me she was cutting my salary close to $700 a month the day before she sent in payroll). I just lucked into another job with a dr. who is busy and is so organized! Two of us are giving notice tomorrow. I'm so nervous that there will be a scene (from her and the pseudo-OM). Ugh.
End of day is best right? She probably won't be in the office till afternoon but I shouldn't give it to her right as she walks in the door?
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
btw, I don't know if this makes a difference but the office is tiny...there's only 5 of us, 2 of resigning tomorrow( we didn't plan that it just happened that we were both offered full time jobs at other places the same week).

UGH! I know how you feel. I always have the WORST anxiety when putting in notice no matter what the situation is. I tend to put it off until the last possible minute.
Just try to remind yourself that you are doing what's best for YOU.

they shouldnt exactly be surprised considering theyve been cutting your hours. and if they are upset, what are they gonna do?? fire you?? im sure they'll understand that in this economy everyone has to do what is best for them. just like they were doing when they cut your hours.

It went way better then I thought. 
She first said that she wasn't surprised since she cut my hours from 40/week to 24/week then she got a little mad that I "only gave her 2 weeks". Oh well. 
But the big surprise for her came when two more employees gave notice 5 minutes after me!
