Is it crazy to switch Dr's at 37 weeks?!?!? Can I even at this point?

My Dr. is OKAY.... but not my favorite Dr. ever.... he's kinda an alarmist and I feel like I have been sent for unnessary blood work and weekly bio phisicals and non stress for the last 7 weeks....BUT thats nnot the big problem... the problem is the wait in the office it is ALWAYS over an hour and I am now at the point that i am going to Dr ever week. Last week I waited for 2 hours to see the Dr. hee comes in, tells me my baby is low, makes a face... doesn't explain anything, asks when my last sono was I say 2 weeks ago (at madonna) I was supposed to go evey friday but missed the last one (ds was sick all night Thursday and had to get him to Dr friday) he yells at me says I'm taking a risk, then ASKS ME why he is sending me there on a weekly basis!!! He then looks at my blood work, says my Iron is low asks "What do you want a transfusion, you are not taking your vitamins" i tell him I am and he looks at me like I am a liar, then he says my 24 hr urine was inconclusive, makes a face as if this is my fault, and sends me to do it again.
This week I had to wait over 3 hours to see him... my back hurt so bad by the time i saw him that I was almost in tears... he was in the room for 2 and a half minutes, didn't say anything of importance and left. I was crying when I got home at 8:45pm (from my 5:15 apt) because I was so hungry and in SO MUCH PAIN.... I am so sick of this... can I switch or should I just suck it up at this point?

If your not happy then defiantly switch. But the waiting thing can happen at any office, there are times i wait at my docs office, being in the medical field I know stuff happens and causes delays. But if your just not comfortable and happy with his care then I say gotta do what you gotta do to be comfortable.

Is there another Dr in that practice? Maybr ask one of the docs at madonna for a recoommendation on what to do.

If your not happy, i would try to switch but many doc's may be reluctant to take on a new patient at this time. Your best choice to get a new doc is to ask at madonna where you get your sono's if they wil take you, since technically your not a new patient.

I just switched last week and I am 32 weeks so if you are uncomfy I would switch.
