Eating/Feeding Therapy

Ava is 4 1/2 and has Sensory Issues. The biggest issue is eating. Texture and temperature are the biggest problems.

She get OT 2x a week for 30 minutes since September. I am really seeing no change.

Can anyone suggest anything I can do for her outside of the school district.

wish i knew. my ds is only 21 months but we vomit and struggle all day with food.

i'm taking him to a slp in the city on wed. who is a feeding specialist ($$$$$) and she's going to do a sensory motor evaluation and give up a oral motor plan. i'll def. be posting on how it goes but if you want any more info fm me.

My daughter received speech therapy at 2 1/2-3years old. The therapist dealt specifically with feeding issues. I can't say enough good things about her. We worked with Fran at Kidz Therapy in Garden City. FM me if you have any questions. Good Luck!
