Dumb question regarding weeks/months
Why does everyone think you are pregnant for 9 months when clearly 40 weeks equals 10 months? Is it just me or is this strange?

Its not really ten months. When you think about it most months have 30 or 31 days, not 28 days. So 40 weeks technically is nine months and some.

What the above poster said... and the first two weeks you really aren't pregnant yet, they just count it that way for some reason.

Right I get that but when you say how many weeks you are, you count those first two weeks...KWIM
