Hi girls!
So I was going to post under a fake name but for some reason LIF is not letting me log on with it so whatever (im just hoping no family or anyone finds out that im on here) and if anyone reads this that i do know or knows my dh please keep it on the DL that we are ttc thanks!
Anyways, Hi! Im Jenise  DH and I got married in August and Ive been dying to ttc but DH wanted to wait awhile..but he just recently decided that he wants to start trying, so here I am 
Now for a quick question- if you don't mind me asking, how long have u been ttc? and if you already have a child- how long did it take you before you got pg? I know everyones different but Im just curious...DH and I are both teachers so i kinda wanted to time it right, but at the same time- i feel like it might take us a few months anyways so we might as well just start TIA

One thing you'll learn through the journey that is TTC is that there is no way to know ANYTHING...
You could be one of the lucky few who's DH breathes on you and you're pregnant.
You could be another one of the lucky few who play it by ear and are lucky by month 2.
You could be one of the girls who is on here for 6 months of timed BD'ing and OPK's and finally hits paydirt...
You could be one of the girls who requires seeing a doctor for assistance after trying for a year...
There is no way to know ANYTHING for sure...
My best friend is a teacher and did what you are trying to do...she lucked out...went on maternity leave in May - had her baby girl in June...she knows DARN well how lucky she was!

Damn i know haha we are just going to have fun and play it by ear for a little while and we'll see what happens then i guess we'll get serious about it if nothing happens in a few months..im excited though haha

I would have to agree with jess. I hope that you are able to coneive when you want to. I am currently on cycle# 7,month#6 ttcmy first with no luck so far.

I'm waiting for cycle #9 to begin, got pg after #8, but just had a miscarriage at 5 weeks.

We've been trying for over 18 months and require medical intervention - but that's definitely more of the exception than the norm.

welcome! i was able to come here incognito from LIW's. i'm not comfortable talking about TTC yet. some people can be so insensitive and gossipy, so i'm here as "the conceptionator". this board has helped my neurosis and baby making plans ;) all kidding aside, this is a great thread for the first phases & stages of TTC TTC on LIF

Even though we stopped being careful last month, I guess this is our first official month of trying. I have a 13 year old from previous relationship. We'll see how long it takes this time around!
