Im just trying to touch all bases...

I went to the Rheumatologist 2 weeks ago. Im still awaiting the news from my blood tests...

I did something to my right hip. Generally Im not in any pain. Until I go to walk on it or I more the wrong way.

I went to the ER this afternoon b/c I thought I had dislocated it....Nope...So I got sent home with a script for Motrin .

So....I dont know what to do....

Do I go to the GP tomorrow? Call the Rheumatologist?

What would you do?

i was told that loose joint usually go along with auto immune stuff. You may have popped your hip out but it went right back in. I would see you gp or go to ortho. I have issues with my hips and knees. I see ortho when I have a problem. They usually send me to pt and say if that doesn't work i will need surgery but pt has worked every time. My rheumatologist checks my joints when I am there but he is usually just looking for swelling related to autoimmune. Yours sounds more like an injury. good luck and I hope you feel better. hip injuries suck

Amazingly enough, when I whacked my pelvis out, the chiropractor helped me. It was the easiest thing for me.

OK, you may not want to hear about adding another doctor to the mix but I'd try to see an orthopedist about the hip. Tell them about everything else, though and see if they have a different opinion than the rheumie. I'm all for chiropractic, too.
