Do whiskers grow back?
I had a pot of water up on the stove and I turned my back for a second and Regis my kitty hopped up on the counter and ran across the stove top  I looked at him to make sure he didnt get hurt and some of his whiskers are curled from the heat  i feel so bad...he's ok but I am concerned they won't grow back

Yes They do don't worry! when I was 3 i gave my moms cat a hair cut and the whiskers were part of the new style. My mother was so angry. But the cat just sat there so i know it didn't hurt! They did grow back! Luckily my mom can laugh at it now!

they do.
My cat Gunnar had a tooth infection about 2 years ago and to drain the infection, they had to shave half of his face, including his whiskers.
They're all grown back now  . But it did take a while.

YES - the same thing happened to my cat TJ, when I was boiling something. All of a sudden I said "whats that burning smell?" and I look over and the dumb cat has no eyebrow or nose whiskers   He was fine, no harm done, they were singed, but they grew back.

I'm sorry but I just laughed out loud at this. I am so glad kitty is OK though because I would have felt SOOOO bad if he wasn't! I love kittys and doggys!
