Is this ok?

I can not get my prenatal down today...I'm gagging too much and yesterday they actually got stuck in my throat. I have flintstones complete chewables w/ choline. Would it be okay to take that instead today? I just thought something would be better than nothing.

My OB had me on a regular multi vitamin and rx folic acid for the whole first trimester because of the nausea.

It is not the end of the world if you miss your vitamin. But yes you can take the flinstones. I barf up my vitamin often. Hope you feel better!

Thanks ladies! I will ask the doctor on Wed for another alternative. The vitamin I take now is a script. The doc gave me samples and I did well w/ the samples. When I got the script filled they gave me generic. The ills are shaped differnent and I have not been able to take the DHA supplement because it's too big. maybe he will allow me to take a regualr multi w/ a folic acid supplement.

definitely talk to the doc - you will be FINE skipping for a day or two...

I couldn't take the prenatal pills for 2 WHOLE MONTHS. The Dr told me to get those chewable gummy bear vitamins - take 4 a day with a folic acid supplement. The folic acid supplement I have is a dissolving tablet that tastes like a sweetart, so I was fine!

The gummy bears stayed down!

They have tons of different prenatal! My RE actaully gave me like 6 different testers to try to see which ones made me sick and which ones didn't.

I found the ones that came in the 2 pill format with the lil jelly pill were the ones that made me sick...

I found one that is not as big as the others and easy on the tummy... hence the name... Natelle EZ.
