My parents saw it this weekend and told us NOT to miss it! It was fanatastic!! they said the acting was outstanding. Now we have to just find time to go and see it!!

I saw it and loved it!!!! The acting was incredible -- I truly felt like I was part of their lives. DH was laughing at me because I was jumping and flinching during some of the fight scenes. I really didn't want to see it but went because DH wanted to and I am glad I did.

well every review I read/heard gave it HORRIBLE reviews, but I never listen to reviews
I also did read a scathing article that the filmmakers took liberties with the script and that the 'true story" is definitely FAR from the truth .. they portray some of the characters very poorly to emphasize the 'greatness' of the lead character..
But that is hollywood for ya

Rich and I wanted to see it yesterday early afternoon, but we ended up at the Shea double header instead. It looks so good...
on a side note, Russell Crowe is a great actor - I just wish he wasn't so ANGRY all the time! I posted earlier today on LIW that he was arrested again this morning.
