Re: Diet and lunch

I bring a microwave meal everyday. Either from Smart Ones or Healthy Choice.

I might start making sandwiches, too.

I use the Arnold's Bakery Light bread with low sodium, low fat cold cuts.

Re: Diet and lunch

I make sandwiches with Tyson Honey Ham from Costco. (3 slices are 1 point for WW)

I put that with 1 slice of Kraft Fat Free American on a small whole wheat pita.

Or salad.

Watch out for the sodium in the frozen dinners.

There is a lot of sodium in the frozen meals. I haven't been eating them as much cause I feel bloated afterwards. I like my low carb bread sandwiches better now.

I'm still eating Special K twice a day! For lunch I eat a banana on top of it.

Re: Diet and lunch

i agree about the frozen dinners - i am by no means on a diet, i buy them more for convenience. the sodium count is super high on some, so they are not the best to eat every day. i usually bring a turkey sandwich, pb on rye or balogna.

Turkey and lettuce on rye or pumpernickel with fruit salad.

A frozen meal with a piece of fruit (usually I keep a stash of frozen meals for when I didn't cook or have something healthy the night before.)

Leftovers from the night before, if I had something healthy. I like to make a big pot of tomato sauce with lean ground turkey and then I make whole wheat pasta to take for lunch. I also like grilled chicken and couscous.

Re: Diet and lunch

The only frozen meals I eat are Amys... otherwise, you don't know what you are getting- I prefer to stick with natural/organic foods...
I don't want to eat any genetically modified crap.

Re: Diet and lunch

I follow a low carb diet, so my lunches can be any of the following:

Grilled chicken
tuna salad
left over anything (steak, pork chops, etc)
hot dogs on occasion
yogurt
power bar on occasion
