ugh i am done with AT&T - bye bye iphone
For three weeks I have had my iphone and even though it was amazing to have internet, mail, facebook, twitter, etc., i coudn't stand dropped calls. I am done! Called up and now I am cancelled my phone contract with them and tried to get my phone number switched back to Verizon but they said I have to wait until Monday  !
So now I am going to try to get a new phone sooner then later with Verizon and get the data plan. As much as I loved the iphone and I love apple products - AT&T phone service is just not there when I need it

I've heard not so great thing about at&t. I don't know how true this is but one of the workers at verizon told me they'll have the iphone as a verizon phone by 2010.

really? i hope so! i really want the iphone but i have verizon...but im happy with my blackberry for now

I am going to probably get a blackberry storm or something that I can use to access everything. I am going to the store tomorrow to play with the phones and see if they can reconnect me.

I have to agree with you! I hate at&t...I love the iphone, but hate the service. Verizon is a hundred times better!

you know, thats the only reason i didnt get the iphone
i wish phones here were like in europe - you buy the phone and then purchase the service. . . so you can have any phone with any service
if they ever get a verizon iphone i will be getting it!

I have the blackberry curve with verizon and I absolutely love it, never switching

Yea I would get the iphone if verizon had it too but I won't switch my service, I heard so much bad stuff about AT&T. Apple would have to be stupid not to do that, so many people have verizon they would make a lot of money

Hmm, I've had AT&T for about 7 years now and I've never had a problem with dropped calls or spotty service. I'm sorry this happened to you.

Me either, no problems with the iPhone either. I do know a lot of people that are happy with Verizon though also.

I saw your status on facebook. DH and I live in the basement and with Verizon we never had any problems with service down there. We got our iPhones about a year ago and I definitely agree that Verizon has better service. Lately though I've been having much better reception and service so I am ok with ATT plus I get a discount on my plan from work. I can totally see your frustration though. Are you selling your iPhone at least to make some money back?

I hope this is true!! I asked once if they were ever going to get the iphone and they just showed me the phone that was compatible to the iphone, I can't remember the name though. That would be sweet!!

I am under the month trial - so I get to send it back and get my money except for the $30 activation fee and the case i had purchased for $15. I went to the verizon store, i have to wait until tomorrow to reactivate my old phone. I tried a few phones, its a toss up of the verizon Samsung Saga since it has Windows Mobile OS and that will help out with my work email from what I have been told from our Tech guy OR the BlackBerryStorm 9530. Want to play with the phones a bit more when I ready to pick out a new one.

It's good that you'll get back most of the money. FIL has the Storm and he loves it. If I didn't have an iPhone I would get a blackberry. Good luck!

I have AT&T and have been with them for as long as I can remember. I like them and dont really ever get dropped calls. However I know where my "dead zones" are where I live and that is where I lose the calls. Its annoying. DH has verizon - I may eventually switch...we'll see

DH has the iPhone and I have a blackberry both through AT&T and we love it. I'm sorry you are having difficulty with it.

so weird, we have verizon and are thinking about switching to A&TT for the iphone
DH has been a Treo user for 5 years now and I have a blackberry, i get dropped calls on verizon plenty
Yes its good service but my calls get dropped
