 yes. shes not as bad as she used to be, she has calmed down alot since she got remarried and is expecting  - thank goodness!  for you if ur having a hard time..

I think we will always have a horrible time with her. She is also in a new "relationship" (I put it in quotes because it hasn't been very long) and we thought that would help, give her something else to do because she doesn't work more than 15 hours a week, but it doesn't seem to be helping.

it didnt help in the beginning for us either, she still calls him almost everyday for nonsense (i joke its because his phone voice is so sexy  ) - joking about it is the only thing that keeps me sane. We have fun names that we call her such as 'gummi bears' - but thats for an FM (too funny and mean to put it on here) - I have been dealing with this for over 4 years now - its something that I have just learned to deal with.. good luck

For us it is the opposite -- she doesn't call at all unless she complains about something we fed him or us damaging something or something else imaginary in her head. Important stuff like going to the doctor, school things, no call at all. And she won't pick up his calls, return emails answering questions, etc.

Unfortunately I have to deal with a very difficult BM as well. I couldn't even tell you what we have had to deal with with her....those would be stories for "in person" LOL!.
but I feel your pain - I think we all do and it does take a lot of energy to attempt to just deal with it.

I'm very lucky b/c I don't deal with BM. I don't think I would be able to b/c I despise the s*k*a*n*K.
My SS lives with us FT and we support him 100% financially. She does not pay child support. She's entilted to see him every other weekend and she keeps to the schedule and SS arranges that (he's 17). Anything to do with SS's education, health and future she has no say in.
But, I feel for SS b/c he deserves better and that's why he has me!

Wow, I started to read some of your posts and she makes SS's BM look like Mother Theresa. DH at least has a really good agreement with her because the lawyer was on top of her games, he doesn't have to pay for any private schooling or camp and stuff like that.

We have a good relationship; I mean she gets on our nerves sometimes but I know things can be A LOT worse so I think I'm pretty lucky. Just wanted to offer hugs to the rest of you!!

im not a step parent but my brother ex is a pain in the butt. wants everything her way.she has another baby by someone else she complains about him videotapes him thinking he doesnt know. n my brother pays childsupport and the other guy doesnt so my brother pays for a child that not his bc the other guy told judge he doesnt work but he does and shes a crazy lazy it must be something bc both of her babies fathers are married. so she never happy.
