For those who are nail salon-knowledgable

I had silk wraps for almost 3 months- I loved them but in that time, I had 2 lift and 1 break and it was a pain to have to go and get it fixed.

I made an impulse decision to get them removed this week and now I'm REGRETTING IT! My nails looks so bad compared to what they looked like with the wraps. I miss them and I feel like I was way to impulsive making that decision.

I am wondering if anyone has experience with the permanent french. How often do u need to get them filled in? How do they look compared to silk wraps? ITA!

Permanent french can be done in silk, gel or acrylic so it's not really a different type of nail enhancement. It sometimes seems like each salon has their own way of doing them. I prefer permanent french acrylic.

Wraps lift more than gel or acrylic...I recommend gel

I get the perm french in the acrylic - never had fake nails any other way. I get just the pink filled every 2 weeks, and then the pink AND white filled every 4 weeks (so every other time you go to the salon basically). And they put that gel stuff over the nails instead of clear polish.
