birth control pills?????
hello! i took birth control pills for about a year, and during that time i lost a lot of weight, now i'm not sure if it was because of the pills or what? but right when i stopped taking them i gained 12 lbs, all i want to know is why?? and if i start taking them again will i lose the unwanted weight?

I gained weight too...about 8 lbs...and they are not coming off easily

i also gained 12 lbs ever since i stopped. It may have something to do with the hormones. Just exercise and eat healthy and hopefully when your body adjusts you will loose that weight

I've neer heard of this... I had some strange side effects from b/c pills, but I didn't gain or lose weight

I was hoping i'd lose weight if i went off the pill! I had read about that. I think everyone just reacts differently!

I have been on the pill for almost 10 years and haven't gone off it yet, so I'm not sure.. But...
When I went on the pill I gained 10lbs of water weight. I looked SOOOOOOOO grossly bloated and puffy. It was bizarre looking. I lost it within a few months though! And since then any weight I have gained is a result my lazy a$$ 
Like everyone else on here has said so far though, everyone reacts differently. If u are really concerned, it's worth a phone call to the doc!
