Back again

I am so deeply sorry for your loss and I respect your decision to want to create a new name I just hope its not because of any kind of shame or embarrassment. I have been thru 2 bfps and 2 mcs here and it was a great gift for me to have this place to go and talk. I wish you all the best and again I am really sorry

I told DH to tell his fam (who we told this weekend) that I don't want to talk about it, I don't want to hear "I'm sorry", I just want to act like it never happened. None of it. Is this completely strange?

I've never been through such a loss (and I'm so sorry you are going through it ), but you can mourn and deal with your loss however you feel comfortable. And I would never judge someone for how they choose to cope - especially a loved one or a family member.
So sorry again. I hope you are back on the pregnancy board soon.

No and I completely understand. IRL we hardly told anyone and have only now told our families because I am seeing a specialist and have certain things coming up. I didn't want to talk to anyone about it either.....well except for a few close friends, but DH told his family w/out me too and when my MIL came to say something I really just blew it off.

No not strange at all. I tried to do this esp since it happened to me at Thanksgiving and then Christmas was coming and nobody wants a debbie downer at the holidays. It wasn't until 3 days AFTER Christmas that it all just came pouring out and I was a mess for awhile. Just take baby steps and do what you have to. fmme if you need anything

I am so sorry for your loss.
It is not completely strange at all.
When I had my loss, we only told a handful of people. And the only reason we told them was because they were the only ones that new I was pregnant (which was only his parents, my parents and my BIL and his wife). The other reason we told them, was because we needed them to watch my other child, while I had to keep going back to doctor appts.
I never posted about it on here. I only just started posting about my situation on the boards the last couple of months, a year after my loss. To this day most of my family do not know about it.
But do know, we are all hear for you if you need to talk. Feel free to FM me, if you want to talk.

I'm soooo sorry for your loss
When I m/c I told everyone not even to ask me how i'm doing. I felt it was better almost to not acknowledge it, b/c then it wouldn't bring up a whole mess of emotions. I cried on my own time and eventually it all passed.
Of course it still hurts to see all the babies and BFP but i know it WILL be my time.
Take it easy and grieve in your own way

not strange at all.. everyone mourns in different ways.. nothing wrong with that!
i had 2 losses so far and for me i needed the support, i was so weak.. but i think for you , its a sign of strength that you are able to cope on your own..
