Should I accept that this is how my body is now, or find out what is happening?
Ladies - I feel likeall I do is come on here and complain about my menstrual cycles, but they used to be 28 to the DAY, and then started changing to 30, and now they are all over the place and are so inconsistent.
I don't know what to think anymore.
Last month, I was a day late, or so I thought - and started staining on March 8 in the evening, and then it went away. The staining was on and off for a few days, and then AF came on full blown.
Because of this, I don't know where I am in my cycle. I know, MAM - I asked you what is considered CD1, and you said the day you need to use a tampon, pad - not staining - right?
If I count my cycle from the day I started staining, I am now CD 33. But, if MAM is right, maybe I am not on the right day?
On and off this week, I had horrible AF cramps, and thought she was coming any minute (going to the bathroom with tampon in hand) - but nothing.
Then, yesterday, the cramps just stopped. I took a dollar store test this morning and it's negative. I knew there was little chance of being pregnant, but still wanted to rule that out.
So, is my body just this way now? Should I accept this, or do something to see if something is going wrong?
Does this have to mean something is wrong?
I am so confused. I wish I knew what was going on. Forgetabout being pregnant - I just wish my body wasn't becoming so unpredictable all of a sudden!!!

ughh, i am so sorry you are going through this.. i know it can get so frustrating.. for me my cycles were always 28 days too.. but after my loss they were all over the place as well..
did you talk to your OB about all this? it does seem so weird that you went from normal to irregular AF's

I have no advice for you just
I feel the same way My body has been acting really crazy and I am just at such a loss. I have the same problems. I spot for 5-7 days before I get full flow. Last month I started spotting on CD23 whereas the month before I had a 40 day cycle and I thought I was over a week late.
I just bit the bullet and bought the CBEFM. If it is a no go this month (which I am pretty sure it is) I just want to be able to at least assure myself that our timing is right because I highly doubt it ever is. This is our 4th cycle and I thought it was about time we really start doing this right.

My RE also told me Day 1 is the first day you need a pad or tampon or of med to heavy flow. Stress can also being causing your cycle to be out of whack.

I feel your pain. My body is all out of wack as well. Have you tried to temp to make sure that you are ovulating? If I were you, that would be my first step, and once you know if you are ovulating or not, you will might get a better idea of what is going on.

I would do that, but I heard you have to do it before you get out of bed and while still laying down - my child wakes up at 4:00/4:30 in the morning - so I would have to do it practically in the middle of the night, right?

Unfortunetly, I do that. I set my alarm for 4:30 am everyday and thats when I do it.

You have to do after three consecutive hours of sleep, so even if you had to do it at 4:30 in the morning it would still totally work.
When i was commuting into the city I would have to take my temp at 5:00 am.
