PEOPLE SUCK (VENT!!!!) Little long...Sorry
So I went to Kohls today with my DD.
On the way in there are NO carts around that have the seat for DD (there were about 40 of the regular carts though - w/o seats)
so I start walking with DD holding my hand & notice that the 1st 3 poeple on line are using the carts with the child seat BUT they don't have a kid with them. Since they were already done shopping I figure no harm in asking them if I could use the cart. WELL Little did I know that I was asking way too much of them.
The 1st lady was probably in her early 70's. Her cart had 2 shirts in it & nothing in the child seat. Just 2 shirts in the basket. So I politely ask her if she is done using the cart may I use it.
She says "NO!!!" & holds on to it tighter as if I would just take it. (didn't I just ask nicely)
The 2nd lady (probably in her 50's) had NOTHING in the cart at all. She was buying 3 baby onesies that were on hangers & she just had them hanging on the handle of the cart. I ask & she says "No, I'm STILL using it. "
The 3rd lady (keep in mind she watched me ask the other 2) (She is in her 60's) She has a shirt or 2 in the basket part & a small bathroom mat in the child seat part.
Well when I ask her (Yes I had to ask because she looked at me like I had 5 heads when I looked at her) She says "There are carts by the door." Then she even points toward the doors as if I forgot where the doors I just walked in were. Stupid People!!! 
So I say to her Yes I am aware of that but none of them have child seats for my DD to sit in.
STILL NONE OF THEM WILL GIVE UP THERE PRECIOUS CARTS.
At this point I feel flames coming out of my ears. I really had to hold my tongue because I really wanted to B1tch slap all 3 of them!!!!
There was a nice lady with 3 kids behind this woman & she tells me she thinks that she saw one by the other entrance when she came in.
As I am walking away my DD says "what are we doing?" & I tell her we have to go to the other side of the store to get a cart for you because the people without children are using these & are TOO RUDE to let us have one.
Thanks for letting me VENT !!! I am starting to shake with anger again as I write this AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

This is honestly my biggest gripe when I go into Kohls! The senior citizens ALWAYS have the ones with the seat. ALWAYS!! I have now learned to bring the darn stroller in, but that drives me NUTSO too!

That is really hard to believe, wtfffffff is wrong with those people!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would've been LIVID and I'm not sure I could have behaved so nicely!!!!!

I know & it wasn't like there were no regular carts There were plenty !!!
I hate bringing in the stroller too & then you have to hang the shopping bag on it. Such a PIA

Believe me it took ALL I had to be that nice......My DD standing with me helped a lot !!!!

I hate that.. at the Kohls by me there seems to NEVER be the cart with the seat for DD.. and the ones who do have it.. well ofcourse they dont have any children!!!

How annoying! I can never find a good cart with a seat for my DD at Kohl's...they all squeak terribly when you wheel them around. But I have noticed that a lot of seniors use the ones with the seat - what is up with that?

what is wrong with them... I think I would've caused a little scene. Or at least ask if I can switch for them.
It's like that at Walmart too... well, with their stupid employees. I ask if I can empty one of their carts for my DD and they tell me NO. I walk away telling my DD very loudly how rude and inconsiderate and dumb some people are. Ugh!

Unbelieveable! I have the same gripe with Kohls as well. Once I went and there were no carts and as I was dragging my 2 year old DD around the store, I saw numerous people without kids using the cart I needed with nothing in them.
Sorry those ladies were beotches!

This is by far my biggest problem with shopping at Kohl's.
I went with my husband and two sons at Christmas time, and there were no seats. So as we walked we saw an elderly woman with the DOUBLE STROLLER ONE walking around. We asked if we could switch with her and could you believe she flat out said no and went one her way!
I'm sorry you had to deal with such rude people too.

That is AWFUL those "women" should be ashamed of themselves. Totally not defending- but the reason they use the child seat strollers is they can use them more like a "walker" to steady themselves KWIM?
It's a damn shame these people are so selfish. You'd think you'd be more generous and charitable when St. Peter's watching and you have one foot on the banana peel. Karma's a biotch- they'll get theirs!

Me too! I won't bring DS to Kohls with me anymore cause it's too much of a pain to hold everything and puch the stroller and there are NEVER any carts at the door cause the senior citizens have them. And they won't give them up!
I feel your pain!

There is NO WAY I would have been able to contain myself. I would have said to them can you please explain to me why you will not kindly offer me that child seat cart since I have a child and you do not???? What is your reasoning for saying no?I would have embarrassed the fluck out of them!
