BBQ question
Ok, maybe an odd question but thought I would try.
How and how often does everyone clean their BBQ grill?
I just bought a weber gas grill, with porcelin coated steal grates.
They told me to clean it, when we are done cooking, just put all the burners to high, close the lid and wait about 5 minutes.
After than use a brass bristle brush and everything should just flake off and thats it.
Others say they do that and also clean everytime w/ soap and water as well.
Just wondering what everyone else does. I don't want to ruin the porcelin coating and have to buy new ones.
Thanks

Re: BBQ question
we clean the BBQ with a steel brush everytime we use it. We let the stuff burn off then clean it.
My DH takes it apart totally 2 times a season and cleans it completely with soap and water

Re: BBQ question
We clean ours after every use, while hot with a steel brush. Usually dipping the brush in water first before each stroke across the grates helps a lot.
