Nassau County neighborhood help

Hi ladies! I just want to introduce myself! I'm Andrea. I got married this past July and now My DH and I are house hunting. My husband is from Westchester and I grew up in Suffolk county.

I'm hoping some of you can help me out with some information...

Anyone have any information on Williston Park and Mineola. The houses we are looking at fall under Mineola school district and I'm hearing mixed things about it. We're just looking for a middle of the road, safe, middle class district.

Any preference between the 2 towns and why?

Also, do you think these 2 towns would be a good location. I'm going to be commuting to exit 62 and my husband works in Westchester. i'm more worried about him b/c I won't hit traffic especially with the times I drive.

If anyone has any other town possibilities that would be great also.

Soon we will be living closer again and able to have our kiddies play more often

My aunt lives in Mineola and sent her kids to private school b/c she wasn't thrilled with the mineola school district. I think Williston Park is great though. Good luck
