Oral Surgeon Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a good oral surgeon in Nassau pref. the Massapequa area or close to it that works with patients that have a real fear of dentists and that take insurance? I have to have my 2 wisdom teeth taken out and am terrified. My dentists recommened Siegel and Cerbone, but they dont take insurance. I also want to be out out. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

I went to Tracey Rosenburg to have all of my wisdom teeth pulled. She is really sweet and I was really comfortable with her. I went to both locations. I am not sure what days she is in the Massapequa office. I got the twilight sleep and didn't feel anything and had no idea what was going on. I went to "sleep" and woke up. It felt like 2 min. went by.

Thank you so much. This may be a silly question, but is the twlight sleep sweet air or are you being knocked out. I just dont want to hear anything. Also, does she take insurance? I have CIGNA.

The twilight sleep they give you through a needle and I did not hear or feel anything. You aren't completely knocked out. I was scared also but you don't really know what is going on. I felt like I went to sleep and the whole thing took a couple minutes when it took like 30-45 minutes. I think she takes insurance but I am not sure. When I went I didn't have insurance and my parents paid for it so I can't help you with that sorry. Just call and ask. Doesn't hurt. She is really sweet.
