This weekend...
actually since Thursday, I spent with my sister and family in Maryland. We left super early Thursday and got in before her three kids even got home from school. Took a small nap to get ready and was completely and utterly bombarded with kids.
IT WAS AWESOME. My sister runs a day care in her home. She had a set of twins that were a few months old that were kinda boring, so I hung out with the toddlers. SO much FUNNNNN. I heard so many giggles and laughs that I had a smile all day.
We took three of my nieces and nephews out for dinner (they loved Five Guys burgers, yum) and again had a blast. No adults around even though DH and I were there 
Just got home a few hours ago, totally wiped out, but totally in a great mood because we had SO much fun.
Still am not ready for some of my own, but, wow, were they fun.

It's fun to put the adult aside and be a kid for a while! What did you do with them? I used to make up games with the kids that were so basic and you would think would bore them. But to have an adult be willing to play things like patty cake until the KID was tired of it... blissful.

What did you do with them?
With the daycare kids..... chalk on the sidewalk, read some books, poked some bellies, tickled some others.
With the nieces and nephews.... DH jumped on the trampoline, played with them and the dogs, texted about the adults in the room , downloaded ring tones, played the Wii. They are in their teens so patty cake days are over.
