For The LIF/LIW NW Book club I just finished A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
For a seperate book club, I am meeting thursday to discuss The Red Tent.

I found the Red Tent really interesting. I wasn't fond of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. However many people have said they LOVED that book.

The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield (liked)
We're now on A Thousand Splendid Suns (haven't started, but LOVED The Kite Runner)

This month we are reading self-prescribed fluff -- Murder on the Red Carpet by Joan Rivers. It's very funny.
I concur with Gerty's list.
I also love everything by Isable Allende.
