Public Service Announcement for Special Ed PTA - SEPTA.

Most school districts have a SEPTA group. Even if your child is not yet in school it might be worthwhile to check out your schools website and look into what SEPTA has to offer.

It's not all bake sales and car washes. My districts SEPTA has had informative speakers, discussion groups, and videos of lectures. They do a lot of parent education. If your child is near school age it never hurts to make contacts with the families that are currently working with the system.
