CBEFM?? Please Help

I know I asked this a few months ago, but how is the CBEFM different than OPKs?? I just bought one but havent opened it because of the . I do get surges on the digital OPKs... so how will the CBEFM help me??? Is it not necessary because I do get positive OPKs?

Im thinking of biting the bullet anyway and trying it. I just started cycle 9 and OPKs have not gotten me pregnant. All my bloodwork is normal and so was my DH's SA...

Should I just bite the bullet and try it??

i am on my 3rd cycle with this. i bit the bullet and just went for it. First two cycles, no peak days, and i got upset. But after reading much about it, i understand that it takes time to get used to your body.

No BFP yet for me, but i am HOPING that this cycle is the one! Currently in the 2ww.

Personally, i think its great - ive read that it is very accurate and people are successful using it.

I dont do any other tracking/temping, so i use the CBEFM as the only help in making sure i BD at the right time.

DH and i both got SO excited just to see that PEAK!

ill let you know after this 2ww how much i really like it. lol

oPK's test for only the LH hormone rise which signals ovulation.
withthe OPK it says to do anytime of day, although I learned on here its best to do a hold of a few hours and then do the test in the afternoon.

the CBEFM tests for LH and estrogen using first morning urine. so its very important to set it at a time of morning that is consistent for you.

I used it for 8 months i think..and the first 2 months were a little weird..and i think one month in there i just got high days..i never peaked. it happens.

I have a brand new box of test sticks unopened that i dont need.FM if you want them.

How much is it? Im in the 2WW right now but if it doesnt happen this month, I would like to get that for next month.

I bought the CBEFM and I do love it...but I"m going onto cycle 7 and still no BFP. I got a peak reading every month I've used it. Ifyou are already getting + readings on OPK...I don't think it's really necessary.

I did end up buying it... I want to say that I tried everything before I go the Clomid route. The dr said she would put me on it, but my cycles seem to finally be regulating since BCP (8 months later!) so I wanted to try two-three months of this before I jump to Clomid.

We shall see what happens.
