? for those with more than 1 dog who use frontline

When you apply Frontline, do you keep your dogs separated for some period of time afterwards? I have 2 dogs and I keep them separated for 48 hours because I'm afraid that one will get Frontline in his mouth when they play. Am I being too paranoid?

We never did that when we had three dogs but they weren't mouthing eachother/playing.


We do try to apply to Maddie say on a Friday since she goes to day camp Tuesday and Thursday where she generally comes home covering in dog slobber from all the playing ...

I don't keep them separated because even when they are playing, they generally don't mouth each other between the shoulder blades/on the back.

we never separate them. they wouldn't have the dogs use it if they couldn't lick it. they recommend that they don't lick it so that the medicine actually sticks but you have to put it in a few different spots so some of the spots they can reach.

I keep them seperate for a few hrs, until it dries a bit, however my dogs generally don't bite each other's necks. 48 hrs may be a bit much, what about 24 hrs?

I never do but they only play around biting the fronts of their necks.
