Re: plantation shutters?
i have no idea where to find them, but i LOVE them and every window in my house will have them
i think they are on the expensive side since they are made custom but i think they are worth it - i know a lot of houses in florida have them, and they are also advertised on the mls as an upgrade, so i am assuming they are $$

Re: plantation shutters?
they definitely have them at HD and Lowes...
If you go look there - don't forget - there was a coupon in Sunday's paper for Lowes.

did you see the big ad that Lowes had - it was similar to a Kohls ad - really thick, almost like a booklet?
In there - in the middle - were two coupons - one for $10 off $50 purchase and another one - maybe $35 off a $250 purchase?
I don't think it's valid on doors though - I didn't pull it out yet but I'm sure there are restrictions on the back....

Re: plantation shutters?
Try:
http://www.justblinds.com/dynamic/quote_results.cfm?catID=15
They are hosting a special on wood shutters/plantation shutters thru the 31st.
You can enter your measurements for an instant quote and order samples. I beleive they are available in real or faux wood.
I ordered all of my wood blinds thru them. I went with the faux b/c I hear the sun warps real wood. They look awesome.

Re: plantation shutters?
Have you tried Home Depot or Lowes? Maybe try an internet search for local blind companies that make them. They are beautiful btw!
