GREAT news!
hey ladies! i've been m.i.a. for a few days - been SUPER busy with life! i wanted to let u all know that today was the day! EVERYTHING is finally official! No more steps, no more approvals, no more process... Josh is all set & ready & will be off to bootcamp for the coast guard June 30th! he will be there for 8weeks, and then it's an adventure from there! thanku so much for all the support, prayers, encouragement etc.. we are SO excited & are ready for God's plans to just..well..simply unfold :) love you all! keep us in ur prayers as always :)

I actually met a couple on our HM that the guy was in the CG. He was in and then got out and then re-inlisted because he loved it so much.

What wonderful news!!! He is so lucky to have you as his wife!! You are loving and supportive and that is going to help keep him strong during those 8 weeks!! and we are all here for you during those 8 weeks if you need us.

ty all so much girls! ur support truly means alot ..Some more great stuff - over the summer i'm actually staying at my mom's while josh is away.. i really thought i may've had to leave my job that i love so much if i couldn't get a transfer...well - i just got news yesterday that not only did i get the transfer, but i got a SWEET promotion! I will be the assistant boutique manager at the smithhaven location - with full-time guaranteed hours, benefits, etc.. (for those that don't know my hours for my current position were pretty much cut in half this year because of the economy..) - and they offered me a very VERY generous raise  . i am so happy & elated beyond words..it's awesome how things happen for a reason & work out just the way they're supposed to..even if during the process we can't understand it.. there were a few other opportunities a while back that had fallen through or slipped through the cracks - and now i know why! anyways, i am SO excited especially now that i'll have management to put on my resume and the coolest part? my start date is june 8th...which is the week we're moving out to my moms! the timing is just awesome.. just wanted to share! Come & see me girls!

that is wonderful news Taryn...congratss and good luck on such a wonderful journey. You are both so lucky to have each other. You are extrememly supportive and that is definitely something your DH needs during his time away.
Good luck with the move, the new promotion (which is awesome by the way) and congrats on everything. God works in mysterious ways but he always comes through.
