Food poisoning/stomach flu - when to goto Dr?
So I've been struggling with food poisoning/stomach flu for almost 24 hours now. I can only go for a half hour before needing to use the bathroom for 1 of 2 options. 
I haven't really drank or eaten anything either, since it only stays in my system for 15 minutes...
Can the dr do anything for me? Only thing I can think is maybe he can give me a script for some anti-nausea medication? (Pepto Bismol does NOTHING) When should I go see him?

There is nothing they can do for you. My doctor says to take Acidopholus. They have it at the health food sore or the drug store. It kills the bacteria in your stomach. I gave it to my son also. You just have to let it pass. Feel better!

Ohh sorry you arent feeling well!!
I would call the doctor and tell them what has been happening. Maybe they can give you some good advice.

Calling or seeing your doctor can't hurt. On more than one occasion, my DH thought he had food poisoning, but it turned out to be something more serious (that the doctor COULD help with). If your symptoms don't get better after 24 hours, I would definitely give the doctor a call.

Thanks everyone.
That's kinda what I thought. A couple of hours ago I remembered that I had Acidopholus from all of the antibiotics I had been taking. So I took 2 of those and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I think if I'm not better by 9AM (that would be 36 hours) I"ll goto the dr - or if my temp goes over 101 I'll goto one of those quick care type places or worst case the ER.

I say go to your doctor and ask them to do a stool sample test. I had food poisoning in April and it was nasty, I had a strong dose of antibiotics, and it still took 2 weeks to go. It was called Campylobacter. Nasty.
