Re: anyne go to cornell in Garden City?
Dr. Kang is there M-Th and Dr. Goldschlag is there on Friday. Basically, My RE is Dr. Davis, who is only in the city but I do my monitoring in GC. My RE makes all my decisions even if I never see him. They rotate the morning monitoring in the city so I might never see my RE even if I went there. Plus he is available to me via phone and e:mail, with quick response getting back to me. So, you could see any RE at Cornell. I like all their RE's and I think by now I have met most of them. Some pick their RE there based on your situation. Dr. Davis is the expert for AMA, so that is why I went to him. But, I'd also suggest Dr. Chung. They take Oxford and United Health Care (same company anyways). Some physicians take other insurance and others don't. But, it would only affect your initial consult because everything else comes from the clinic not the physician.
And just so you know, you would still have to go into the city on the weekends for monitoring. Its not hard. I live way out east and its not more than twice (if that much) during a stim cycle that I have to go to NYC. On weekends you can drive in with no problems. Plenty of parking near the office (and plenty of parking lots if you need to use one).
Good luck.

I also go to the Garden City office - (Dr. Goldschlag).
After 3 IVFs at three other clinics, I got a BFP in Nov 08 at the ripe old age of 44, but it was ectopic ...
The office is very convenient for monitoring and is not the "zoo" that the NYC office is, during the week!
Highly recommend Cornell!

I didn't go to Cornell in Garden city but I did go into Manhattan. I used Dr. Goldschlag. He was able to connect DH to a great urologist who helped us greatly. Dr. Goldschlag got us pregnant on our first IUI. I highly recommend him.

I will mimic Beth Ann. I see Dr. Davis but I have monitored at Garden City.
Either way, you can't go wrong. Great clinic.
