Landscaping pics...
still have a ways to go - but it's a start
we added a half circle wall for the maple, (my fave  ) and colums at the end of the driveway (still have to pick out the lamps for that)

we bought everything from the nursery and hired a landscaper to do the planting and build the wall and columns

honestly, we didn't price it out both ways -- i would imagine had we bought the plants through the landscaper, there would have been some sort of a markup - so i'd like to THINK we saved some $$ buying them ourselves

the one by the bay window is called a weeping norway, behind it are Ilex and dwarf azaleax
to the right of the stoop is barberry something (forgot the name), along with more ilex and dwarf azaleas
the dwarf maple is in the center circle along with juniper poonana (sp?) - love that name btw
along the driveway is bluestar juniper and korean boxwoods
oh, and the only name i can think of for the third specimen is the "pom pom tree"
