Why didn't they tell me sooner?

I asked to work this summer at my school. they Finally tell me TODAY after pestering them for weeks about it that they DON'T need me. It really stinks because in my contract I will only get paid for July but not August. And I really need the money.

Now I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I could've been looking for a summer job, but now they left me with no time and when most of the summer jobs I would do are taken.

I really am down and out at the moment I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

That's terrible and so annoying. They should have told you sooner! GL finding something
