We are adding to our family!!!! I am going to pick him up on Friday!!! He is so adorable! Of course, never more handsome than my Schultz, but who could be? LOL.

I saw this on Pets and replied there on what a sweetie he is!!
But it's funny that you said he could never be as handsome as your Shultz. I tell my new kitties all the time that I love them more than any other cats in the world-except for their sister in heaven!

I will never expect it to be the same, to me, your Pets are just four legged members of your family, and no one can be replaced. You can love someone else, but it's never the same. Schultz will always be the love of my life. That doesn't mean I'm not totally in love with this one, and I haven't even met him, because I can't wait to kiss that little black nose in person!!

I agree! I love my new babies in a way I never thought possible after how devastated I was over the loss of my first cat... they truly bring such light and laughter into our home and have helped heal my heart in such an amazing way!
But like you said- it's a different love for each animal you've ever had in your life- and one never replaces another.
But that's a good thing!
